UPDATE 0.15 changed mote acquisition. As a result you no longer have to purchase the motes yourself. They will accumulate automatically. The first few days will provide fewer motes than the final days of a transcension.

This should help any new players get a grasp on what to expect when they transcend as well as how to spend their points.
